Default Looking for Exhaust System for GS460

Yup guys, it's time to upgrade the exhaust system! However, these are my requirements:

1. Not too loud, I just want appearance ( shiny tips and cans )
2. Not to require modification to the GS460 rear bumper.

Any ideas... as I am not sure what fits the GS460 ( which seems to be in low demand in the US when it comes to mods )

Any help will be appreciated! Would love to see pics as well!

I was also looking to upgrade my exhaust system, but due to uncertainty of what fits, I came to a halt on this project. However my first guess would be the Tanabe medalion Touring, seeing that it fits the 430. It has a nice deep tone that aint that loud. I dont see why it wont fit, since the axle back of the 430/460 should be the same.

The Tanabe was an option for me but the appeal of it wasn't so nice looking to me. The tip and how it was off set for more clearence made me turn it down. I ended up getting the Greddy SE due to the nice cans and tips. I wouldn't mind getting the old SP2 but it's been discontinued. Also, Greddy only makes a canister type for the GS which sucks. I had to buy one for an IS350 and mod it to fit. The place that did it for me did a great job.

I too vote for the Tanabe Medallion Touring. It will not be the loud fart can type exhaust on Civics and Cavaliers, but will be more luxury oriented (quieter) with a bit of exhaust note.

Two questions please:

1. How about the F-Sport Exhaust? I might be able to modify it to fit the GS460. No one has given me a straight answer as to whether they fit the 460 or not!

2. How much do the Tanabe pipes project from the bumper? I kind of like pipes that stick out a little.. whereby you can see them from a side view of the car.

Thanks

2) it doesn't stick out much from stock bumper, so imho you might not be happy about them

IMO the tanabe exhaust is one of the best out there and it should fit the 460 with no problems.. The 2 Gen GS guys luv that exhaust. I would get the Tanabe if i didn't have the Blitz..

Does anyone have a video or sound clip of this system on a V8 3GS?

What sort of actual performance enhancement can come from these exhaust systems? Is this just an answer to audible and/or visual aesthetic preferences, or is than an actual quantifiable performance enhancement (i.e., increased HP?)

Another option...
All your requirements about the exhaust system can be accomplished by a reputable muffler shop.

Tanabe just confirmed to me they don't have anything for the GS460! I am shocked that there are no vendors out there that can confirm if there's any mufflers that will fit the GS460.

What is the difference between the OEM mufflers of the GS430 and the GS460?

We currently have line of cars for testing. Unfortunately, at this time we do not have a straight word on the GS460 model. The exhaust for the 430 is test fitted, sound tested, and power tested. But currently at this time we have not tested the Medalion Touring for the 460 model.
