Default Video while moving using the SL2Vi

Hello,

I have a 2006 GS300 without NAV, DVD or ML. I will be installing the SL2Vi this weekend and would like to have video while moving.

If I cut the purple wire will that work? Or do I need to ground the yellow wire also? Someone that did this or know how to please help me! I would like to be certain before cutting the wires. Thank U for your help….

I have the same setup. Had to cut the speed wire and ground the parking brake wire.

You cut the wires from the car, not the harness VaisTech gave you. And you ground the stereo end of the parking brake wire. The stickies on this subforum show it perfectly, don't remember colors that clearly. Just went by the pictures when I did it.
