Default Does your dashboard make noises?
Does anybody have this problem?

When it is cold, usually in wintertime, the dashboard makes noises when it is "moving".... It must be because of the stiff material of the dash board, but can it be solved somehow????

yup mine does but only when its cold and after the car warms up it stops. Im use to it now. You can take it to the dealer and have them try and fix it but thats more trouble then its worth. A lot of the time that just adds to the problem, but some people have fixed the problem by taking it in to the dealer.

Same, I have dash, rear view mirror, rear windshield rattles.... and they all rattle together when driving on crappy road conditions -,-

Yes my car came with the Dash Board Rattle option package. I think there may be a few threads on this problem.....

If you made this thread a poll, I bet at least 70% of people would say their dash made noises.

Sounds like a pretty low percentage to me...more like at least 90% would say so...

i dont believe it was an option, I think it came standard.

Yup I have it as well. I traced mine to the area on the sides of the center console. Where the console meets the dash.

i agree.. i'm afraid if they will add more problems which happened to me before with my previous car.. i'm getting used to it also, i have music on most of time anyway.

Its a GS.... They all get it eventually... Always worse when it is cold

what rattles?

lexus never have rattles. they are the bestest built cars in the world!
