WOW. Thats insane. I cant believe the car split into 2. I also cant believe that the lady lived through that. I cant stand drunk drivers. That stupid lady could have ended the lives of some innocent people.

I have no tolerances for drunk drivers. BUT, I'm glad no one was hurt, not even her.

With that said, think I could gank the wheels?

Man.... I believe the same way you all feel. I was so thankful that NO ONE was in the car with her, especially a young baby or child. Just Damn stupid people.. Some people just dont know when to stop or simply slow damn when it comes to having too much to drink. I posted this for three reasons...

1. To make everyone aware of the consequences of drinking an driving
2. This GS held up pretty well around the driver seat.. Not so good for passengers.
3. GS spare parts for sell in North Alabama! Well maybe the car tag and one rim, maybe a wiper!

I will hope to have more pictures up this afternoon or tonight of more of the incident. One of them is where the 2 wreckers was on scene. One part was to haul the front half and the other wrecker for the back half. Just unbelievable, shes still alive.

I agree (though I would not call it a mistake, rather a really bad decision on her part). As far as I am concerned, a (legally) drunk driver is attempting to murder anybody they can.

Wow, she's extremely fortunate to have survived that. Where at in AL? I'm in L.A. (Lower Alabama) myself.

wow, absolutely amazing no one died in that crash. glad no innocent pedestrian or other drivers were hurt.

i don't care what car a person drives (mb, bmw, audi, etc), any car will be split into two when hitting a telephone pole at high speeds. so a GS to be split into two is not really surprising. what's surprising is that the drunk driver was lucky enough to survive this crash.

Drunk or Sober, New Years is NOT the time to be driving on the roads.

Default Its in.....

The wreck happened on Pepper Road and East Limestone Road in Limestone County. Its in Athens, AL, just west of Huntsville, about 15 miles or so.
I took a guess on what year it was. I know cars pretty well when it comes to imports. I think its around a 2006 or so. I hope this info helps. The car had a Madison County tag, so it maybe in Huntsville somewhere, awaiting insurance to totally it.
