Default Installed my Curt Receiver Hitch (IT FITS!!!)

Let me start off by saying this was the easiest mod ive done. It was easier than putting replacing my halogen fogs with HID's. This was an install on a gs430. Needed this really bad so i could put my Mountain bike up on it....but i will tow a atv on an aluminum trailer too....lol. I've been breaking down my bike and putting the frame on the back seat and the wheels in the trunk...I hated that and i didn't want a trunk mounted rack...

the goods
Curt Class I Receiver Hitch Part Number: 11372

Back out the 3 bolts on each side

exhaust will come down and get ready to pick up the receiver

used a little compromising since i only had one jack....and wala!

push up receiver followed by the exhaust/hangers and bolt them up

comes out like this

you did a great job. I like the fact that it look so subtle. When I read "hitch on GS" I kind of cringed but this look great.

it's good to know that this will fit over a lip kit as well, as we see with houston818. great mod!

Bump. Been getting a few messages about this. Rack works like a dream. Thought of gettin a high end rack, but why fix if it ain't broke... Works well and no scratched on the car what's so ever.

Default ditto

I just installed my Curt 1 1/4" hitch tonight to carry my bikes. Easy, easy installation just like the OP said and it's stealthy as hell!
