Looks like you cut the speed sensor, but forgot to ground the the parking brake wire to enable video in motion. It's in the Nav hack DIY. You don't do anything with the Y cable wire.

 

Agreed....your original hack would not have included the parking wire since that applies only for ML audio and dvd video while in motion. There was no need to mess with that since you did not have video to watch at that point......so what you need to do is cut the yellow wire and ground the end that goes to the radio...se the DIY for location and exact procesure.

 

yeah, ground the parking brake, that's for video. the switch has nothing to do with it

also, the vaistech harness has nothing to do with the wires needed for nav hack
