Sunroof Black Rubber Trim Fading
Has anyone else had this problem? How do I fix it? Can I apply some kind of product to it to make it black again or does it need to be replaced?
Thanks for your help.

Is it wax buildup?
There are products out there, like "Back to black" that are supposed to do a decent job of returning black trim back to it's original blackness.
I have some trim near the side mirrors that looks a bit like that, I think it's just from wax getting on it in the past.
You would be surprised at how much replacing trim costs....

Yeah man that looks like someone waxed the car and wasnt very careful of where the wax went. I agree that some back to black will take care of it. That is not fading though
PS i love the color of your car. I have the same.

I would agree with the group thus far, you will need to take some hot water and dawn or other and see if you can wash as much of the wax out as you can, then just take some rubber dressing (I like 303) and apply several heavy coats and it should restore back to its natural darker color.

Back to black works well- so does tire shine on a rag if you have it on hand.
I have even used olive oil years ago before the new silicone based products were on the market. -Just do not use petroleum based products- that is not good for the rubber!
Cheers!
