Hi All,

Wondering if it would be possible to get a few pictures of the GS300 boot (trunk)? I would like to see the size of the boot as apparently the GS300 boot is fairly large. I understand the GS430H isn't that large, as this may have something to do with the extra components for the Hybrid side of things (although I may be way off ).

I also believe that the boot has a smaller lip to get things through initially however. The Mrs and I are looking into buying another Lexus in the next year or so, and she has settled on the RX350 so far, however I'm not an SUV person and would like to see all the options available to me. Yes I could get a 2002+ ES300 with front wheel drive, but my next car has to be rear wheel (and possibly AWD if I get the RX).

Since nobody is answering, I'm just going to say the best thing for you to do would be to just go to a dealership that has one and take a look in the flesh.

Do a search and I'm sure you'll find more. Also search on subwoofer as it's located in the trunk and some have written DIYs on how to replace which will show you some more pics.

I've had an RX300 and the trunk size is comparable to the GS, except for the height of course. It makes a pretty big difference...but yea, it's probably best to go see for yourself

That's a very interesting response. Thanks for the response on that. Gives me some thought about just how big the boot actually is.

boaclub923 that boot really does look deep. Mmmmmm gonna have to go and have a look at one in the metal to see just how big it is.

I will also have a look at that thread with the lighting to see if that gives me some more insight.

Truck space on the a 3GS just sucks. You have to be a Tetris master to figure out how to squeeze 3 luggages in there.

u can fit 1.5 person in the trunk, thats what trunk is for anyway

I was stuck in an IS300 trunk before. I probably could have snuggly added one more person...of equal size

i packed my trunk with 1 shovel , roll of black heavy duty garbage bags, axe, duct tap, zipties , 2 bodies and my golf club bag..you can fit alot in there at once

Yeah the 3GS trunk is not well designed... I can barely fit two sets of clubs in there. Four people with 2 sets of clubs? Ain't gonna work.
