I dont what the deal is but when I removed my axle back exhaust the car seems faster to me. I think its that the car doesnt make a sound yet it pulls like a train. I guess I am just not seeing my GS as a performance car. Its faster than my G35 but yet I feel like doing all of the mods that I did to my G35 would be bastardizing my Lexus.

hahaha... bastardizing.... although i do agree i8abmr, that the lexus is made for comfort and quietness... i'd actually want that rumble in the bronx when i gas it a little, but that quietness at cruising levels

IMO, your over your head on this because you have to sit down and design 4-6 different headers and then test them a few times. That's a lot of time mocking up and then welding.

GS300
GS300 AWD
GS350
GS350 AWD
GS430
GS460

Gotta remember, only a handful of people are willing to do the upgrade. A majority of the people with 3rd gen GS have grown past the "speed" phase. Maybe it's just me, but I would skip the 3GS.

Also unlike the ISx50, they are a younger crowd and so going faster might be something to them not to mention they have two different motors unlike the production changes on the 3GS.

I'm not planning on making all of the versions at the same time, that is why i am keeping track in which models there is more interest and which ones dont. Even if i was to make a version for each model it wont be at the same time.

This is why i made this thread, checking for interest, if there isn't enough, then of course, i wont make anything. So far it seems that the IS350 will be my first project.

The IS350 and GS350 motors are similar so I wouldn't be surprised if they used the same header, unlikely but maybe. That would be your best bet IMO.

Sorry, anything but stock is illegal. You might still be able to pass emissions but without a carb # it will always be illegal.
