i recently purchased some new hid bulbs and replaced the blown one on the passenger side.
upon opening up the passenger side headlight cover i noticed that i had alot of build up and corrosion. i took the vehicle up to lexus and since i am out of warranty they could not replace the part.
the parts dept said the "pig tail" piece only comes with the entire set up.
my mechanic said he would be able to re wire the pigtail if i can find a replacement.
has anyone run into this issue before?
also does anyone know the part number to the "pigtail"?
i looked on ebay and they have several head lights for sale, but unsure if a afs headlight assembly vs a regular would work or not.
lexus is charging 1200 for the headlight assembly!
anyone help?
