Default Head light bulb

I order a paid of 6000k head light bulb for my 07 GS but it don't angle wide as the original is there something in particular I have to ask for thanks

they are it just not spread out wide as the original is it because its not original

and i think 6000k might have something to do with it too. stock projectors are designed for 4300k stock bulbs wavelengths. with 6000k the wavelengths are different and might not get projects as well. just a guess

of course, bulb quality will pay a role too

Yes 4300 is the best light out put but I doubt you'd notice that much by just goin up to 6000k

How much did you paid for the 6000K bulbs? HID bulbs have a very small hot spot compare to halogen, if that hot spot is even 1 mm too far forward or back, it will throw the whole beam pattern off. My guess is you need better quality bulbs.

I think i need better bulbs as well.. my hid fog kit lights things up MUCH better than the bulbs... it was from a vendor here on CL but i dont remember the name.. the guy's sig had an integra on it...

The higher you go in the kelvin scale the light output will decrease, its normal.

you are probably just seeing the diminished output..

i would get the phillips 6000k ultinon D4s available only in japan apparently and according to another owner, he said it's much brighter than china made 6000k

everything plays a role here

Aside from the different color hue created, why would you want to go higher than 4300k? I never understood that.
