Default carry a spare?

If the car is on run flats, and these run flats are supposed to be good upto a hundred miles or more after being punctured, do i need to keep a spare in the trunk for local driving? or do i not understand the benefits of a run flat..

the purpose of runflat is for u to be able to drive it flat for that long to a tire store to change it out..

so why you need a spare if you continue to run runflats?

Although the car comes with runflats it still comes with a doughnut spare. Check your trunk under the mat, it should be there. My 07 came with it.

If u remove the spare and all the tools the go w/ it (like jack, etc), u lose close to 40lbs, which will save u gas and add PERFORMANCE!...kinda :-)
