Question OEM quality LS-style rear bumper replacement?

I'm trying to contact several shops/fabs to see who can make a full bumper replacement with LS exhaust tips. (I don't like tack-on body kits. they don't look factory. Molded body kits also crack after a few years)

how many of you would be interested in buying this if the price was right?

i figured a group buy would bring the initial high cost down a lot.

Here's a call out to M1 Autosport (CL Vendor)........ Can you make this happen with non-FRP?

hardest part would be obtaining this piece....

It looks good, might be interested but again it depends on the price.

that's why i'm polling.

I'm hoping if enough people show interest, the fabricator might offer a good deal.

for comparison, a factory bumper replacement only costs <$300. So i'm hoping it's not much more expensive than that.

if it's too expensive, I'd just get some urethane repair fillers and see if i can fill in the bottom area and clamp some exhaust tips to it.

Around $300... Doubt it. If it was to happen, they would have to make a cast for it and then start production. I really doubt your going to find anyone to do just because there isn't enough 3GS owners who are willing to change out the rear bumper, nevertheless buy a lip kit.

If they do start production, expect to pay easily $500-1000+. My lip kit cost $2k, that's basically $500 a piece.

I don't care for it. Price will be much more then 300. That OEM bumper is mass produced and we can't come close.

Your better to have a shop custom mold your current bumper IMO.

but yours is imported from japan. that by itself is expensive. and all those jap aftermarket companies are expensive to start with.
