Default Infinity G35 wheels on GS????

Has anyone tried to install infinity wheels on GS? There is a set of 19" staggered G35 wheels for sale locally. They are the rays forged optional equipment wheels. Thought they could look pretty good powdercoated. The hub centering hole would likely be the issue. Nothing a die grinder cant fix.

People have on the last generation GS and it makes me want to puke. I haven't seen it on the 3GS and I hope I never do.
I will never put BMW, Benz, Infinti, Audi, Caddy, Hyundai OEM wheels on my Lexus. There are so many aftermarket options and even Lexus options out there.

Here are the F-sport 19s for instance...

Well I can get a full set with tires for under $1000. The f-sport wheels are $349 for front and $399 for rears even with the 20% discount. And that is without tires. And without the mounting kit. I just thought it would look good. The wheels are manufactured by rays anyways so how can that be a bad thing.

Do what works for you. I wouldn't do it personally. I agree with 1 sicklex that there are way to many aftermarket options. I have been feeling the Vossen line recently for good quality cast wheels

Agreed, don't do it. Also if those 19's are from the G35 coupe it would not fit right on your GS. The offsets would be too low.

Its like putting a TRD sticker on a Nissan! Just doesnt make sense. Cost wise I feel ya, and they are nice wheels by Rays, but just plain wrong (at least to me personally). But if $$ is an issue and you hate your stock wheels... the offsets wouldnt be right though. GL with your decision.

The wheels would easily fit, even though the offsets are low (+30F, +33R) the wheels are narrow (8F, 8.5R).

If you like them go for it, I'd much rather have these wheels made by rays than some of the cheaper quality wheels many people put on their cars

so if the bore is too small your going to fix it yourself?

you will never ever get it 100% even all the way around. you need to have the wheels machined to fit your hub if they are too small.

Center bore is actually larger on the g35, you wouldnt need to grind anything.
