Good evening guys, I'm new to the forum and I joined club Lexus because on my father behave for his current situation with his 3rd gen GS 350 AWD
The forums won't let me start a new thread until 30days but I have an urgent question.
Since the current 17" wheels on his GS are pretty beat up and bad shape, I saw an ad on Craigslist for 2009 ES 350 wheels. 17" 215/50/17 45mm.
I just want to know will those wheels clear the GS brake calipers?

Tom, always super clean ride and excellent choices for rims! Those sit absolutely perfect. What are specs on offsets and tires please! I see they are proxes and that's about it.

Even though they're small they look great. I've always liked the look of Prodrive wheels on Subarus. Are they forged or cast aluminum?

Hey guys, most all the GS' looks great! I've got a 2008 GS 460 and I'm about to get wheels and tires and lower it after that. I'm looking at some TSW Brooklands, 20x8.5 Front with 255/30 with +40 and 20x10 rear with 275/25 with +40. Will this fit? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I would run 235/35-20 front and 275/30-20 rear. Those sizes and offsets are very conservative and shouldn't rub. A 255 tire up front on a 8.5" rim might be funky looking.

Thanks for the response. What do you mean by funky looking? I'm not looking for nor do I like the stretch tire look/style. That was the tire size recommended to me by discount tire.

255/30 will be fine on the 8.5 and it will look good with no stretch. I had that size on my 8.5 rims(all around). the only reason I took them off because I wanted more cushion so I went with 245/35.

Hi guys, I'm in the process of picking up some work varianza wheels on sunday, specs are:

Front: 20x9.5 +28*Tires: 225/35/20
Rear: 20x10.5 +30*Tires: 245/35/20

Can i get away with shaving all the fender to get them to work with no camber? (Or factory spec camber)
Would be changing to thinner tires if needed for clearance

from your specs, a roll all around or a roll in the front and shave the rear should be suitable.

Picture from last week.
Thinking about picking up a new set of Work wheels but not sure if I want to go more aggressive.
