Does the finished system sound better than the factory ML system did?
Please provide some detail- I am getting ready to do this modification to my ride.
Thanks!

Ok so I did it!
3rd gen no-ML GS!

I moved the stock stereo to the glove box (bcuz it needs to be plugged-in for the A/C to work). Installed a Kenwood USB deck with Alpine eq up front. Under passenger seat I have an AudioControl Epicenter unit, and in the trunk I have a rockford fosgate 800.1rms for my bass and a hifonics 55.4rms powering up 2 sets of 5.25" infinity coaxils that I installed on the doors (even though the stock size is 6.75") and for my bass I have two 15" rockford fosgate subs. To clean up the sound I have an Coustic 3-way active crossover controlling the frequencies on my highs and my bass (also installed in the trunk) and right next to it is a 5 farad Alumapro capacitor to keep the battery from taking the hit completely.

Like I said before, where there's a will there's a way.

You can't post that without providing pictures as well!

Fair enough, I'll take pic's this coming weekend when I remove the sub-boxes to do a little upholstery work on them.

just picked up a 3rd gen gs 350. I have everything I need to connect the sub and amp including a line output converter. I just don’t know what speaker wires to tap, and if I can tap any which will give me the best sub sound? Thanks ia
