Other people... have you had this done to your car? Did it work?
They have to confirm the rattle 1st, which is half of the battle. Most of the time, they don’t hear it and return the car back to you as is. Of course with Lexus, if you can yell and scream loud enough, they will do it for you without confirmation.

yeah well I think I might need to yel and scream a little when I go back because they told me last time they couldnt hear anything. I want this rattle taken care before I extend the warranty. Most extended warranties dont cover chasing down rattles. ( at least it didnt on my infiniti G35 and Acura Tl)

I have that same problem. I took my car into the dealer today for the CHeck VSC and asked them to take a look at the back of the car as well. I'll let you all know what they say

How often do you have the problem? I haven't had it in the last few days, so now I'm worried that when i bring it in sometime, they won't hear it, won't do anything, and when I drive away, it'll be back

Check underneath the floorboard in your trunk, there may be a gremlin hiding in there

Any updates on what they said about the back of the car? Hoping it went well for you!

Went to Lexus yesterday, drove with the shop manager. At first it was driving quiet (and I was getting scared), but then at faster speeds it appeared! (Which is weird because it seems to just come randomly). Anyway they said they're going to do the rear window TSB, and he think that should fix the problem :crossing fingers:

Other people, hopefully this fixed the problem for you?

I did the rear window TSB, and I haven't heard anything since. If you're still under warranty, that should take care of it. Good luck!

Its just a matter of pulling back the head liner and cutting off the plastic clips with a hack saw, there is a TSB around here that shows you how to do this, try to do a search.
