Default 5k oil change


Do I have to go to a dealer to get an oil change? i not gonna do it myself!
lexus tall me $70 for oil change

cost $61 here for an oil change. My "silver dragon" car cost $69 to do an oil change at time it lube.

Ignore "krava's" reply, he's obviously drunk and can't type.

NO, you do not need to go to Lexus dealer to change oil or do ANY other maintenance. I usually go to a Toyota dealer for a $27 oil change and other maintenance. Same parts and same training. But you can take your car anywhere you want.

I do the Toyota dealer as well @ $33...beats the lexus $$ which is ridiculous.

do lexus and toyota dealers use the same oil, i imagine? Does the gs350 start out with synthetic? My dealer charged me $52 and told me to change it again in 5k so this can be done with regular oil?? thx all

I bring my own oil (Mobil 1) to lexus and they charge me 50.00 for labor and filter

I got do my change on my lexas not hard just time cost about 80$$ with purple royal....lol

Same here, I bring my own Mobil 1 to my dealership for oil change!!!

But they only charged me $30.00 for filter, ring, labor, and a loaner!!!

BUTTT, how do u know they decided to put mobil 1 into your car and not their own oil?

Our family have been with Sewell Lexus for years (20+ vehicles), besides they always assigned a mechanic to take care our toys!!!

I trust my serivce advisor and the mechanic, and I always bring 2 jugs of 5 quarts Mobil 1 to the dealership, and they always returned the unused back!!! Besides, the service bay is opened to the customers, so I am able to see how they work on my toys!!!

next time look out, cause ill take a trip over there and wait for you to get an oil change, tip the mechanic 10 bucks to put that mobil1 in my car and get them to put 'lexus' oil in yours. haha jk.

For this price, there's no way they would use Synthetic blend, let alone Full Synthetic. If that's not important to you, then more power to you.
