yeah. i would like that too.

in the past, when lexus replaced a trim piece, they let me keep the old piece.

maybe they can get you the old style piece, and you can switch it when you get home, and keep the new piece in storage

I plan to keep my old ones. Do you really think anyone will even see that spot or look there. I know both of my seats pretty much cover that spot and the angle from the pic dunnojack posted NO one will be looking from that view the door is in the way Anyone that gets into the front is looking face forward not backwards

I am okay with the change and got my card in the mail today my replacements are in. Still going to do it even if they wont let me keep the old ones

I don't see damage on mine... How do you guys take off your seat belt?! Do you just let it retract and swing towards the B pillar or what?

mine isnt from my seatbelt, its from my jeans. i have my seat back as far as it will go and if someone is parked too close to me, i have to squeeze in. well squeezing in, you rub on that interior trim and if you have any buttons on your jeans, you'll be sure to damage it.

should. i had mine swapped out for free. the difference is the 06s bump out towards the seat when it gets close to the floor. the newer ones are just flat.
