I would be very suprised if you have absolutely NO damage to these pillars... I am incredibly careful about my ride and still have damage there, from either the dealer service, or the car wash, or accidents... I have very little damage, but I'm replacing them because the dealer is willing and I don't want it to get worse and have a fight later. Dealer willing + Parts available = Drivin' Happy!

Does that piece seperate or run all the way down to your baseboards? My baseboards are a little scuffed up and would love to get those replaced.

what do you mean by baseboards? are you refering to the carpet retainers near the door sills or the lower half piece of the interior B pillar?

You can once a TSB is issued. I would wait though until the old one gets damaged and then get a new one. It also depends on the relationship with your service team.

According to my service rep the new part is slimmer/steadier and less likely to get bumped when entering your car, or damaged from your seat belt. You can say that you keep bumping it when entering and want it changed...I think you have till 50K anyway.

No, TSB for Lexus USA does not apply to Canadian models.
