you mean the oem ipod kit is only for 07+? i am not 100% but i thought it will work on 06 too (just a guess)

if you ask about the vaistech, they work on 06 just fine, unless you want video, it's not compatible with 06 3gs with ML. but at the same time no oem ipod kit has video anyway

 

Bought a kit and just found out my headunit doesn't even have the Sat function....just the AM button. I have a 07 GS300 purchased in Hong Kong.

I don't think so as I have not seen any Sat Radio sold at the stereo shop in Hong Kong. I have installed a GPS, DVD Player and Digital TV receiver using the LCD screen in the GS. The installed took about 6 hours and I have asked the shop to also build me an aux in but the sound quality is not so great. I might have to go back using tape connector....

 

why not get vaistech ipod kits? aux input can't have good sound quality
