Default Rear Vents (Center Console)

The rear vents that are attached to the center console does not have any air coming through the vent. I have tried all the setting on the climate control and cant seem to have any air go through those vents. Does the air that is directed through the front vents supposed to come out of the rear vents or is there another setting for the rear. any help will be greatly appreciated.

Doesn't the center armrest have to be in the forward position, as well?

Suggest that you make sure the armrest is in the forward position and, as those vents only work for A/C, make sure the AC is on the coldest and highest setting (rear heat comes from the vents on the floor behind each of the front seats).

the position of the arm rest has nothing to do with air flow to the back seats. If the vents are open and still no flow I would take it in to the dealership

just checked the rear vents with the a/c on high and cycling theought all the vent settings and still no air through the rear vents. according to the owners manuel there should be no difference with using the A/C or heat. according to the diagrams there should be air flowing through those vents when the air is flowing from the front vents. Time to visit the dealer.
