255/35/20!!!!?!?!??? on a +35 offset with a 10" rim?? i wouldnt do it! ur asking for trouble. especially if your lowered at all.

overall diameter has got to be at least 1 size overspec.

what's the problem with that? a lot of people run stretched tires (if that's their intention). i am running 265/30/20 on mine, which i guess would probably be similar to 255/35

mine is 20x10 +37

dont be skurd! you need to hang out in the 2gs section for a little while and step outside your comfort zone.....lol! some of the offsets those guys run are insane.....props to my friends in the 2gs forum

thanks for responding to my pm a while back. do you have any pics you could post? or any pics of similar set ups? that would be awesome!

i will be lowered on either tein cs or tein ss so hopefull I wont rub when I lower the car. i really didnt want to mess around with modding my fenders at all on this car......that was a huge headache on my last gs

see link below for rominl's pics

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...it-is-out.html

keep in mind that rominl did do some fender mods (not sure what) to get his wheels to fit with no rubbing. if you don't want to mod the fenders, you may want to re-consider your options.

(henry: if i got this mixed up with your old GS4, my bad!)

yeah that's all the pics i have, unfortunately i hardly take pics of my car so i don't have pics of the wheel setup, stretching, etc...

the rear fenders are shaved all the way though to avoid rubbing

if you go with 10+35, even with 255 tires, i think fender work is needed

awesome looking car man!

i cant really tell from the angles those pics were taken but it really doesnt look that flush imo. im looking for that slightly stretched tire/poking lip look.....it doesnt look that way on yours to me and ill be lowered on tein cs too

the only other offset offered in the particular wheel i want is 45 but i dont think thats agressive at all for a 10" wide wheel.......what do you think?

any pics of set ups with those measurements?

my 265/30/20 t1r is stretching a bit on the 10 for sure. i wouldn't say it's a lot, just a bit.

in terms of the "flushness", my tein cs is at the bottom and with my fully shaved fenders, i can probably go another 5-7mm. but the rubbing WILL increase for sure. right now with this setup, my top is not fully flushed, however when i hit very very big dip, the rear WILL rub a little bit.

so with your stock fenders, even with 255/35/20, if you drop it enough, you will rub (no fender mods)

stretched, flush, shave, rub, you just gotta find a compromise

yeah, but like you said.....you've worked your fenders quite a bit AND even though its minimal, +35 is more aggressive than your setup!!

i guess if your running a 265/30 and if this dude runs a 255/35, the smaller width (255) would be stretched even more than yours, making the 35 series almost like a 30 but IMHO it'd look like @#%*@&^$!!! im not into the super-stretched look.

a 35 series on a 20" wheel is recipe for rubbing unless you do a bunch of work to the fenders. Or your rolling like a 4x4, then it wont rub.

what about a 245-35-20 tire on a 20x8.5 35 offset wheel? you still think that will rub? bc ive run exactly that on the front of probably 5 sets of wheels and never had any rubbing. btw my gs was lowered for all of them
