Default Brake replacement

My brakes need to be replaced so I want to know what you guys recommend. Lexus wanted 1000 for the job. They said my rotors had heat spots.

you can get the oem pads and rotors online, carson toyota for example. if you are not do it yourself, take parts to a local gas station.. might be a lot cheaper.

Thanks going to order the pads through them, debating on ordering cross drilled rotors from somewhere else.

A brake job is a definite Indy shop work...$1000 is just plain hijack for a stock brake job.

agreed! i never understood why they always charge so much for simple brake jobs. id get the parts myself and do the work myself. you will pay about 1/4 of the price.

The prices were ridiculous, they wanted 200 for the front pads.

Anyone try these rotors?

EBC Green Stuff brake pads were the best I've ever used on all my cars. Excellent stopping power and low dust.
