Default vibrations.

so as i said i believed that i was getting vibrations from my wheels. i went to my friends shop and i took each wheel off and put it on the machine to spin. it looked to me like the rims were straight but the tires had some wobble and or hop to it. i changed all 4 of my tires and 2 rims still have a slighttt hop and wobble. i dunno what to do, will this slight wobble cause such vibrations that i am feeling, its like hard to notice but you can see a slight hop/wobble. ahhh i don't want to change the 2 rims and still have that vibration. does anyone know if that can be the vibration situation from such a slight hop.???
as i mentioned previously last year i slid in to a curb slightly on a turn which damaged my hub bearing, axle and bent 2 passenger side rims. i had the dealership fix all that and on top of that change the 2 rims. can that be a possibility that this is causing vibrations still. i seriously don't know what to look at anymore so if someone has some ideas please share
thanks.

I also slid and hit the curb slightly with my GS300 AWD with 18 inch optional rims in the fall of 2007 = damaging the wheel bearing and the rim. The vibration began to occur and got worse throughout early 2008 leading me to replace all 4 tires and 2 additional rims. It solved 90% of the vibes in the steering wheel on highways but never got it perfected. I recently had my steering rack replaced under the new recall since I also began to have increase in steering effort and the replacement solved 99% of my vibration in the steering wheel. Now it is almost unnoticeable but once you damage the car, it will never be as smooth as it was when it is new.

If I were you, get the dealership to replace the steering rack if ur GS350 falls under the category for the recall, and u will be surprise how much better the steering feels.

maybe i will ask the dealership. what's a good excuse for them to change it off the back.
i don't have vibrations in my steering i feel vibrations underneath the car as i accelerate and maybe as i let the car drive with no acceleration on the highway doing 70 - 80
