Cool Help!

Hello folks!
I have convinced my parents to buy me a Lexus!!
I want to get a 2009 GS, but my parents want to look into something slightly used. I did some searching and I found a used 2008 GS350 AWD. Should we go for it? Or should we just go out and buy a 2009 GS?

Any input would be helpful!!

Thanks!!

Here is the link to the used GS350:

welcome to CL.

gs350 is a nice car. keep in mind if you want to mod your car, the awd is not ideal, can't lower it properly

Nice car, no ML stereo, though (which is overrated IMO anyway) I wouldn't pay more then around $37 +fees and taxes. Keep in mind, that you'll never get 20/27MPG. It will be more like 18/22.

I would disagree, when I had stock wheels i hit about 22/26 MPG. The car is definitely capable of freeway mileage in the 30's, it really depends on how you drive.

Thanks everyone! Honesty, I have no plans to mod my car, yet. Living in Minnesota there are no other option but to get AWD. Also, I like the look of stock.

Bavaria,
My parents and I are going half-half. Being 20 yrs old it is hard to come up with $40,000.

If anyone have any other input on the GS please feel free to speak up!!

You have RWD. We are talking AWD.
