Default Softer Ride

I have the '06 GS 430 and want to make the ride softer (not feeling bumps in the road) What's the best way to go about this or is it even possible? I just want to achieve the softest ride possible.
1. I'm not lowered
2. I've already changed the runflats out (245/40/18)

Thanks

You could consider switching the rims to the 17 inch wheels off the gs300 / 350.....you could even change the oem tires to 245 45 18.....I am not sure if you can change the OEM shocks to something softer....others will chime in

I was hoping there was an after market shock that I could buy because I tried the 245/45/18 before settling for the stock size because unfortunately it didn't have a difference. And I really like the 18' size and look on this car so I just can't go 17 (although it may be a good option). Thanks for the options thus far. And Like you said EyeKutr "Others will chime in". Hopefully someone has something for me. Just don't know what to do at this point.

Going from 18 to 17 is not going to make that much of a diff. Its the way the suspension is set up, there is really no way to de-tune it without major mod. You should have bought a ES instead.

That's a pretty funny picture. And G Man. If I wanted an ES, I would've bought an ES. I'm happy with my GS. I'm just like a lot of people here wanting to change some things to best fit them personally.

Get 17s and run even softer tires made for touring. I noticed large difference when i went from 16s to 17s with stiffer tires on my 2GS. Tires matter more, but a bit more sidewall will help.

I have both setups 17 and 18 for winter and otherwise. The ride is very much the same.

Just wait a couple of months until the F-sport shocks come out... They should be arriving in the summer time ! I am definitely getting the shocks and springs !
