yeah i think you have to save it to your seat setting, i can barely remember what i did lol.

 

Why would you need to re-save the seat and mirror setting if you never reset back to the original seat and mirror setting? It should stay where is it unless you hit the memory button. On my other Lexus, I just tilt forward and up a bit to see the sidewalk curb, no I am not joking , but you cant do that with the GS if you head is already touching the roof of the car I turn off this function in the GS because I had to replace 2 side mirror from my pass Lexus due to the gears stripping.
