Hey guys, I've read alot of the brakes squeeling threads, I have had my 08 AWD since April and the breaks just started squeeling 2 weeks ago, when we just started to get snow and the weather was in the 20's in NJ, do you think the squeeling will stop once we warm up again in the 40's or do you think it is here to stay. I want to take it to the dealer, but from what i've been reading, they haven't been able to cure the issue, also, may it have something to do with the moisture from the snow and also the salt?

 

The squeaky brakes are temp. related. Mine use to squeak less when it got warmer.

 

do you all have the "high-performance dusty" brakes or the TSIB "less dusty" brakes?

 

My high-performance dusty pads squeaks but my low dust one didnt.

 

I have the ones that came with the car.
