im in the plan to get tints but dont know what would look better 25% or 30% on my GFM GS AWD .

Your best bet is to check out the tint shop where they can answer all of your questions and show you pictures with 25 or 30% tint on the cars.

But for the more part people are going to say..put tint on what you think its good and not others, but if you want my input put 15% all around..because thats what i did :]

I agree. Luxury cars look better with darker tints. On the GS I like anything between 13-15%.

I did 15% on the rear 3 windows and 50% on the fronts, so the cops can see a contrast and might not pull me over. If front tinting wasn't illegal I would have done either 35% or 15% all around, depending on taste. I chose 15% rear for sun protection since it's my daily driver.

25 and 30 aren't gonna look much different.

and if you drive a lot at night, you don't want super dark tints either.


30-35 looks classy enough

I am personally very against dark tints on any color car (limo tint)

i went with 23% all around, couldn't be happier

Yes. The number that you see is the % of light able to pass through. 1% is very dark, 75% is not so dark.

35% in the front and 20% in the back for me...

Whereabouts in NY are you from and what's the interior and exterior color of your car? I know from experience that within the boroughs, the front window tint laws are enforced pretty well. I run 5% on all my windows except the windshield. Both the interior and exterior is black which adds to the darkness.
