They are OEM, prolly just the camera.

I have a question... am i able to just buy an aftermarket 6000K low beam bulb and replace it with the OEM 4300K without buying a ballast???

If you do change the factory HIDs... don't go above 6000k. If you do go above 6000k, it will reduce your visibility at night time especially during wet conditions. It may look nice from a distance, but not really safe for driving.
I heard xenondepot.com sells a good after market set according to CL members. Go to the vendor section of the forum, I am sure there a couple more places you can find in there.
I am pretty satisfied with my OEM HIDs though.
