My wife and I just picked up a 2006 GS300 AWD from a dealer in chicago on friday and we love it. She's the primary driver so the minor things like dash rattles and that kind of thing won't bother her at all. I love all the options on this car, it does feel like the car knows you the way the smart key system works. I was a ASE certified mechanic for 5 years so I chose the lexus because that was the car that I and my colleagues never worked on. Only maintenance items were things we had to fix on these cars. I even saw a LX450 go 300,000 before it's first major repair and that was the timing belt that they never did before!
So if anyone has any questions on how to do something on their car let me know and I'll probably be able to get the info for you.

I believe it's called Glacier Frost Mica with the black and gray interior. I got some pics that I can post when I get a chance.

 

On second thought I don't think it's that color. That's the color listed by the dealer but I think they were wrong. Here's pics can someone tell me the official color of my car?

its hard to tell from the pic but if you open your drivers side door and look on the door jamb, the code for GFM is 074.

btw im jealous of the black trim interior

 

Hard to tell by the picture, but if its silver white with a light blue pink tint to it, then its obsidian. BTW nice rims.

Me too!! i tried everything to change it and get that interior unfortunately lexus is lexus...

Thanks! Yeah I think it's like whlkev said or just silver. Either way I love the color scheme. We were looking at the matador red with tan interior but I do like the black accented interior much better.
