Default Ect button

What exactly does this button do. I couldn't find it in the owners manual. I know the "snow" is for traction....but what does the "ECT POWER" do????

The ECT button changes the RPM's the trans. shifts at. Snow will make it shift at low RPM's while Power will let the engine rev higher before shifting.

This is one of those buttons that doesn't require owners manual Flip it and enjoy to be pushed into your seat with a power boost I think it forces gears to shift faster and as mentioned above revs the engine higher. Not the gas friendly, but sure is fun from a stop at red light!!!

It also holds off upshifting on coasting - increases engine braking and keeping rpms up.
