Default Body kit QUESTION for 08+ GS? (possible swap)

i know it kind of sounds crazy, but i know the front/rear bumpers are differnt slightly for the 08+ GS's. and that seems to greatly limit the options of kits that you can run on the GS.

anyone know if the 07 bumpers (front/rear) will swap out with 08 bumpers to accomidate the kit?

assuming:

- front bumper
- rear bumper
- front fog light
- front center grill

PS - also where would be the best location/cheapest place to find a set of the FABULOUS eyelids and OEM WINDOW VISORS? (i only know of l-tunedparts?)

correct me if i'm wrong, but it's only the front bumper that's changed? if yes, the op doesn't have to worry about the rear bumper.

why worry about getting the 07 front bumper? that's just a waste of money. instead, look for a bodykit that has a front bumper replacement (instead of getting a lip kit to fit the 07 front bumper). you'll get more bang for your buck that way. besides, it will only be a matter of time when bodykits will come out for the 08+ GS.

Grille for the 08 is larger than the 06-07. Many of the full bumper replacement kits are for 06-07. So you will need to buy a new 06-07 grille or find an aftermarket replacement.

Yes, forgot about that. but a replacement grille for 06-07 would be cheaper than getting 06-07 replacement bumpers. 2 cents

ugh, it still doesn't work like that, by just changing the grill on the 08 is not going to make the 06-07 bumper fit, the curves are completely different

*actually nvm, i think you meant pre 08 replacement bumper with older style grills

the cheapest way to do this is wait for the 08 kits to come out, quite a few already out if you look hard enough

some people dont like the added chrome on the 08's. i guess it all depends on the nrg250's taste.

someone can correct me, but even some of the holes at the top of the bumper are different between 06-07 and 08, so some clips might not fit.
