Default AVS Sport

with inspiration from the ECT Pwr thread, for those that have the AVS (Adaptive Variable Suspension)

do you leave it on all the time?

for me, I only use it when I feel like having a spirited drive, with Park sensor , sports mode, and AVS on, the gauges looks like a freaking xmas tree, it gets annoying at times so they are not on all the time

i don't have avs (and seriously i don't care about it ), but i can agree about the christmas tree park. whoever decided about having the park sensor light on ALL the time unless you disable it, he should be shot....... who came up with that stupid idea....

When I had the 08 GS460 for a week, I actually left it off most of the time. The only time I used AVS Sport mode was in the twisties, or if I had a full load of passengers and was in an exit or entrance to the freeway or interchange. This particular GS460 also had APSSS which help reduce the body roll.

It is annoying to see all those green indicator lights on at one time. I wish Lexus did not have to have an always on-dash indicator for the Park Assist when engaged.

I got mine ON (AVS with APSSS) at all time (with PWR, Parking sensors, and the hybrid's "Ready"), it does definitely looks like a Christmas tree...

I found the ride to be much more compliant without being to harsh.

stupid enough, i think on both the LS and IS the park assist light comes on if it's off (maybe someone can confirm) the park assist light on the GS dash is quite annoying at times. every time i see it, i ask why

After having AVS on my GX470 for 3 years, AVS was not a option I was looking for when I bought my GS.

One of my buddies was running the Tanabe DF210 with his AVS for a very long time with no issues. If you are going to run larger wheels/tires, and don't want to go too low, the NF210's would work great.
