Seriously. and seriously consider the misting....it got rid of the odor, 100%.

I was going to say it must be humid where you live because in AZ its to hot and dry for that to happen regularly. we usually sit around 4-10% humidity. Feels like an oven when you open the door. Its to hot to even sweat. lol

I had a 2GS that had the smell. I took it to the dealer and there is a drain pipe in your vent system that gets clogged. They will take an air hose and blow it out. I actually had water drip on my passenger side floor mat because it was so full from the condensation. I would guess it is the same on the 3gs although i have not had the smell in mine yet.

That was a top thought/consideration of mine. However, there was a run of water out from under the car when the AC was on, so I knew the air box was draining. Secondly, the carpets are bone dry.

steveiej,
I would still have it checked. I would be willing to wager that is your problem

When they did the misting, that was one of the AC areas that they do check. It was clear.

My problem was mice that peed in my air vents. little bastards

I used the foaming sanitizer to clean out the condenser and I also did a fogging treatment to clean out all of the vents as it circulated air. I don't think i have mice pee, but the stuff worked well. I got both items online for like $40 total with shipping.

which foam did you use and how did you get it on the condenser fins? long hose? drill hole in air box? Just curious if my mice return to the scene of the crime. I don't want to shell out $150 each time.
