How long to you need to keep the lights on? Mine come on long enough to find the key hole or the start button then it goes off, I don't need any lights inside other than than.

Or maybe I misunderstood and you don't like the dashboard / speedometer lights, I like the way the dash looks lit up at night so I have no problem with that either

no upgrades. more bugged by buttons not being backlit than the overall lighting.

I mean the overhead lighting.
Usually there's a 3 bulb in front and a two bulb in back like the IS had.

I actually like it. It has much more than my 02 ES did.
Between the LED that keeps the console illuminated and the LEDs that come on when I come up to the car, I think it is subtle but stylish.

The map lights are pretty bright and direct when needed.

Now I haven't sat in the back seat, so I don't know how well lit it is for a passenger.

I wouldn't mind if they were a tad brighter, but currently they get the job done.

No issues with lighting. The trunk is an issue in my book. I couldnt even put 2 suitcases in the trunk.

It could be a little brighter, but you will get use to it. It is a foucs light rather than spread out like non-LED map lights. The trunk light is weak, but can be mod easily. There are quite a few thread here as to upgrading the trunk lights to LED.

I think the lights serve it's purpose. They're bright enough to read something if need be.. plus they don't attract attention like normal bright lights in other cars. And I agree with the trunk.. way to small.. I have to play tetris to get my golf clubs in there!

Yea, I agree the other day I noticed how weak the trunk lights are... All the interior lights are white and then I open my trunk and see this nasty yellow dull looking light and I almost threw up! lol...

I like the lights that light up from the bottom side of the side mirrors. It looks really cool at night as you approach the car
