Default Navigation Route Guidance

Well for the past month my navigation has had a problem. When I enter a a addresse and push guide it will say something like "Go on route and wait for guidance."

It shows the line/direction I need to take but when my car goes on-route it will not guide, when I use voice command "repeat guidance", she says "not under route guidance."

So then I have to zoom out of the map and keep an eye on the screen to see how to get to the location I need to be and if I go off-track it will not recalculate the route.

What can I do to solve this problem?

I tried to recalerbrate the location but it doesn't seem to have any affect!!!!

It sounds like your nav cannot pin point where you are. Maybe a reciever or antenna problem, I would let the dealer fix it.

This happens when it does not know exactly where you are at or have the bypass switch in the bypass mode.....you flip the switch back right? Does it do it with the switch off as well? Are you on the map in the correct spot? try calibrating the thing under menu as well

It may or may not, VSS input is needed for best guidance performance, bypass kills the VSS input (this is for wire hack)

I have the plug n play kit and same concept. it interupts the signal, making the car think it's not moving so the system unlocks. once you finish the address input and turn it off, you notice the system hasn't been tracking while in override. takes a few seconds for it to figure out where you really are.
