http://www.lexus.co.uk/range/gs/spec...model=GS%20300
it clearly says gs300, with a 3l displacement engine, pushing 245bhp
where as in the US
http://www.lexus.com/models/GS/detai...fications.html
it says gs350 with a 3.5l engine, 303hp. i think the difference is clear

don't turn a question into a quest.every one gets it wrong sometimes, and u go nuts ,,,,,,take it easy, life to short
I guess I'm lost on the "stage" thing... How do you determine if it's a stage 1 or 2? It's not like the 3GS has the same engine as Supra where you can say "o I have a BPU" which would make perfect sense ya know?
Excuse me? Where'd this 3GS300 and the Supra sharing the same engine thing come from? Last time I checked, the Supra had either 2JZ-GE or 2JZ-GTE I6 whereas the 3GS300 had 3GR-FSE V6. And I'm the thick one eh?
are we talking about the same car,,,,we know the US CAR USES A DIFFERENT ENGINE.The 3GS350 HAS A V6 3,5L,and thats NOT the same as the SUPRA.In the UK we have 2GS300 WITH A STRAIGHT 6,and the 3GS300 WITHA V6,THATS NOT THE SAME,so don't do a BRUCE LEE
Thanks for quoting me, that's what I just said... Did you even notice the fact that there is a 2006 3GS300 with a 3.0L V6? Second of all, if you're talking about the I6 2GS300, why are you posting in a 3GS forum? You're also the one who didn't even know the fact that there's a 3.5L V6 with 303hp to begin with. You need to do your research and get your facts straight before you call people "thick" and "Bruce Lee."
did i not talk about TOYOTA CAMRY with the same V6 as the3GS300,,SCHOOL,U NEED SCHOOL

This thread has degraded to nothing but personal insults and (flawed) esoteric trivia.

fat boy v8, if you aren't a member I would encourage you to join LOC UK http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/ and ask your questions there where folks local to you are familiar with your specific UK engine choices, etc. Yes, you can also read that suggestion as a request to be more polite to our Club Lexus members in your future posts.
