can we do L.E.D. day time running lights like the audi?
Hey guys, I notice that the S line for the audi's have day time l.e.d running lights.
The S6 uses the inner lenses, which is a similar setup to ours as the slot to run the L.E.D.'s. Anyone know how this can be done on our car?

the inner backup light lens is clear with a single bulb, it will only make sense cosmetically to have the outer turn signal that match the flow of the inner clear lens.
I much prefer it this way, if turn signals were LEDx20, it might not look as clean.

It's okay, i'll trade few bulbs here and there for full interior LED + license plates LED

I'm guessing its for safty reasons. Maybe Lexus couldnt get LED approved for the turn signal in time? And they didn't update it in the newer 08's becuase it wouldnt be cost effective to have some cars with and without it.

well, i don't think it's hard to do,
just add a resistor and directly tap the wire on high beam,
the LED should lights up the same time whenever high beam is on
the question is.... where r u ganna put the LED strip like audi?
i can't think of any "good looking" place...
