It is aaaaall about image. You - "bad boy wanna be" - join the croud of BMW owners. Classy, calm, "I better then you" - did I said it outloud? - get a Lexus I would never swap by GS for 5xx.

haha, it's not entirely about image, with BMW, you actually get a driver's car, it's FUN to drive, fun to take corner at 60+mph. They offer European delivery program, bmw magazine, M performance driving school

but what do you get from MB? besides the so called "prestige"? i can't think of any... (does not include AMG line)

To me MB is like a in between of a Lexus and a BMW, a little bit of country and a bit of rock and roll.

If you are not keeping the car beyond the warranty period. Get the German Car. If not get the Junkxus car. I like the looks of the GS more than the E, or the 5, however the German cars drive much better.

we don't buy lexus for handling just like we don't buy bmw for comfort, eash has its own strength and doing just fine in its own segment of the market.
I agree the Gs is not a cornering machine. And yes the customers ( who are mostly over 60) complain that 18's give " such a harsh ride". The lexus will provide better reliability and I think the styling is nicer as well ( subjective), and you get more car for the money with the lexus. But Damn the 335 is a well built car with stellar performance. I didnt even drive the low end 5 series when I was shopping bec HP numbers are to important for me to buy a car today with that little power for that kind of money. Sorry BMW but more money and less power didnt appeal to me. I couldnt get myself to buy the 335 bec I can reach over and open the passenger door to easily. Actually from the drivers chair I could reach back and touch the back part of the rear seats. TOO small

Man they get pissed when they see the my custom plates. I8ABMR. I had it on my old G35 and it got me into many a race with bimmers and I come to have little respect for the 330 compared to the G35. I used to wave from the sunroof as I pulled away at high speed. The 335 is a totally different animal. Its a damn torque monster. When I drove that I would agree it does perform better than the stock g35 but for 7-8k over on the price tag. I like the way the bimmers feel but not at the price and size they offer the cars in for the price range.

No Lexus has ever had fake wood.
