Hey Everyone!
I am new to CL... I just purcahsed an 2008 GS350 RWD. Smokey Granite on Light Gray. I was in the dealer signing paper work, while texting and ordering new wheels... I order 360 Forged(www.360forged.com) Split seven, I am doing color matched center with chrome lip. Doing 20x9 front 20x10 back...My questions are as follows... I am about to order the Tein S-tech springs for my car, as the wheels will take 3 weeks to build...I am gathering items for the car.
I also ordered the Auto Couture Front Chin spoiler, from my buddy who works at Auto Couture, so while the lip comes in and the wheels come in.. i wanna have the car lowered, but was wondering which would be the best way to go.... some have told me go with the Tanabe spings.... other say Coilovers, being that I am new to Lexus, i dont know what is best... I came out of a 2007 Tahoe, slammed on 24" 3 Piece wheels... now my wife drives it... I want the GS to be slammed but still ride good... i know there is trade off's. I had a Maxima SE before the Tahoe.. that was slammed on K-Sport Coilovers... they rode good but stiff... please advise...
need help on doing 3000k HID in the fogs..what is the model of the fog bulbs...what are the mods for the 08 Nav unit... DVD unlock etc..
I also want to do... different color DTRL...please chime in...i am open to suggestions.... I will post pics up tomorrow
thanks

IMO, most people like the adjustments on the coilovers. Tanabe springs is not bad although some people on the forum considers them a rough ride. Like you, I am still searching for the ultimate comfort with aftermarket stuff. I am going with airbags to achieve the "VIP" look. I don't know how it is though since I never had bags before on any of my cars.
dam Smokey is a real baller :P btw i dont consider tanabe a stiff ride. I got the Df210 and i think it rides similar but u feel the bumps a tiny bit more. Its still alot smoother than my cousins IS350 stocked and after he swaped springs.
welcome to clublexus. if you want to lower it the right way, get coilovers. that's the only way to get the exact height you want, even height left and right, as well as the right shock dampening. springs can never cut it
also, your buddy at AC? the front lip spoiler? do they realize it doesn't fit the 08?
