If the GS-F doesn't come out with at least 500-550hp to duel with the E63, M5 and-ish RS6, it will fail right out of the box. Where will Lexus pull out 500-550hp? V10? FI V8? I hope they understand this.

 

If Lexus can generate the monster that is the IS-F, it is very possible that a specially tuned V10 may be developed and I would love to see that. I can't wait!

 

the is-f already has over 410hp to compete neck to neck to the competitions. i am pretty sure if they come out with the gs-f, it's going to be something comparable or they won't make it at all.

lexus has been planning the v10 in the lf-a for years, they have it ready

That's gonna be awesome....let's hope they do it right...i hate those fenders on the IS...I hope they don't do a similar setup on the GS-F!

Wow I was just thinking about this in the bathroom today. I was like Lexus should get the V10 from the Gallardo.

 

I'll believe it when I see them in the showrooms just like I saw the IS-F.
Until then it's all rumor and speculation.

We all thought the GS460 was going to get 380+hp too

 

IS-F already got reamed by Car and Driver against the BMW M3. Hopefully Lexus can take away some lessons learned.
