Its weird that the 2007 white is called glacier frost mica and the 2008 white is called starfire pearl. The weird thing is the 2007 silver is called starfire. Anyone notice this?

2007 had starfire pearl (white) , glacier frost mica (pearlescent color bluish tint on top of white) and was replaced by Opaline in 08

mercury metallics have always been the silver color

back in 06, the GS's white was called Crystal white then replaced by starfire pearl.

 

For 2007 there are 2 white colors:

Starfire Pearl - 077 (Pearl white)
Glacier Frost Mica - 074 (Pearl white with blue)

For 2008, Glacier Frost was replaced with Opaline Pearl - 1G5 (Pearl white with a hint of purple). Starfire Pearl is still available.

Silver is called Mercury Metallic - 1F2. Where are you reading this?

didnt see the bluish tint, may because it was in the garage at the dealer(watertown,mass). they keep all their cars in the garage. i was deciding on a 07 gs 350 awd glacier frost mica or a 08 gs 350 awd starfire pearl. the dealer said they dont have starfire pearl for 07s? either way i got the 08 starfire pearl.

 

Good pick. My 07 GS is Starfire Pearl too.

 

Did anyone see the Ruby Red on the ES350...wish it was available on the GS.
Much better than the ruby red....darker and richer looking. Look for it on the GS in the future

My 2007 GS350 is Starfire. Looks like your salesperson was telling you a story to get you into another vehicle.
