Different kind of seat problem
The other day, while cleaning/conditioning, I noticed a crack along the driver's seat molding, along the bottom close to where it hits the hard plastic. By the look of things, everytime I get in/out of the car, that molding must have been rubbing against the hard plastic and cut through it.
Needless to say, I brought this to my service manager's attention at my last oil change and they took care of it. It did require his manager come out and look at it, but as I explained to them - the car is barely 1 year old. The leather should last a little longer than that!
The leather repair person had to replace the entire piece of molding and he softened the spot where it was rubbing before.
Take a look and make sure this is not happening in your GS!

I don't have the wear you've shown in the picture but my seat frame below that is all scuffed up. and i hadn't noticed that before. looks like you may have 1 tiny scuff mark a couple of inches below the arrow. I have a quite a bit of wear on that lower frame. i don't know if its heel marks or what. some black, some just scratches. now that i've notice it, gotta find a way to clean it up.
