seat repair
Hi,
My passenger leather seat base has a torn seat seam. I can't imaging it can be easily sown back together.
Is there such as a thing as a small patch piece that can be bought and glued or otherwise bonded over the torn section so as to stop the rip from growing?

The Leather piece is actually pretty easy to exchange for a good do-it-yourselfer...But the new leather piece just for the bottom is about $500. You should take it to a good upholstery shop. It is pretty amazing what they can do. My guess is they would make it look good as new for around $100.
