Well, first things first, I big THANKS to MADDAWG & the GMAN for their recommendation! It saved me about $160 bones.
I went with their recommendation and got the Goodyear Eagle Response Edge (225/50 17 - stock size) slapped on the car. So far they have been very quiet, stick to the road well, stiffened up my turns ( I think because the sidewalls contain carbon fiber) and best of all...no more tramlining.
At $154 ea it wasn't a bad deal and they do come with a 50k mile warranty which was tough to find for low profile tires. Not many come with any kind of mileage warranty.
Keep us updated on how they wear and handle down the line. I am seriously think about changing my runflats to Good Year F1 all season, which have similar technologies.
