My 08 GS has 1400 miles on it. Drives to the right. Need an alignment. Lexus is charging me almost 80 bucks. This type of stuff isn't covered by the warranty with a car so new? Any other suggestions on who I can get to have this done. I have a hook up but dont really trust them. I live in the Miami area. Thanks.
They should not have charged you, if you look in warranty manual that came with car it sez somewhere in there that alignment is covered for first 12 months. Regardless if you had made a complaint about it Lexus dealer should have made a goodwill gesture to cover it.

Dealer in Houston gives one free for the first year.
What's the typical time period between tire alignments? Once per year? As needed? Every 30k? Every tire rotation?
I don't think the service manual mentions this...
Thanks, guys. I only ask because when I go to get my tires rotated, the gentlemen there is going to ask "Do you want to purchase lifetime alignment for this car". One time alignment is $60..lifetime is around $120 or so..

I'd recommend the lifetime if its that cheap. You usually have to get an alignment after you change your tires or when you let go of the steering wheel and it drags the car to either side. Over here in Miami we are on highways a lot and usually highways are curved and not completely flat from side to side if you understand what I'm saying, and that tends to unalign the tires.
At 1,500 miles, my GS350 was pulling to the right also, dealer tried several alignments was still pulling to the right.
So Lexus HQ sent one of the specialist the Sewell to check on my toy, they solved the problem by replacing all four tires with Michelin Primacy instead of stupid Yokohama Advan.
