Default Gs350 vs Gs460

Besides the engine size and the badge, are there any noticeable differences in the exterior of the 2008 gs350 vs the gs460? I know that other car companies like to make their higher end models a little more distinguishable such as different rims, moldings, or more aggressive body styling. Just curious if they are any different cuz I don't notice anything.

On the back, the GS350 says GS350 while the GS460 has GS460 I don't think there is anything else exterior or interior wise (besides powertrain) to distinguish the two. Both have available 18" G-Spider and Tourmaline rims, so even that can be ordered with as options.

The GS460 have standard 18" rim and the 350 have standard 17" rims. Thats the only diff. I can think off exterior wise. There is quite a few diff. in technology and interior.

in CA, i believe almost every single gs350 is ordered with the 18" so virtually has no exterior differences in CA.

correct, it depends on region. at least here in CA you can almost forget about seeing a gs350 with 17s. and kev, come on, why would you care about wheels? just change them now

i don't recall anything different on the styling as well. but doesn't bother me, lived with my gs400 for years like that. as soon as people see the 400 (now 460 badge), they don't dare to mess with you

It may take a well trained eye, but doesn't the GS460 sit a lil' bit lower than the 350 due to AVS ???

negative, same height. AVS is tied to the dampening and not height

Lexus should've put staggered 19 inch rims, a front lip, and maybe a inch (or two) drop on the GS460. Now that would've been sick...

correct, avs is about dampening, now height. one can "argue" that the v8 might be heavier, but that's too little to cause any noticeable difference.

kev, it's what the forum for right?

As Kaygee says the yellow lights come with the HIDs. You can get GS400's w/o HID and white fogs and GS300's with HID and yellow fogs.

ps and I6, not V6 in the 2GS
