Default GS350 valve tick????

Finally decided it was time to move up to the 3G, picked up a 08 Opaline Pearl 350 with ML on friday. Is the engine supposed to sound like the valves are out of adjustment? I spoke with the dealer about the noise and he said it was normal. I know the one i test drove sounded the same but i figured it was because someone put their foot in it before it ws broken in properly. Mine was fresh off the truck still covered in plastic!!! is this really normal??

yup, ticks like an air cooled solid lifter
it annoys me more every day, I try to ignore it, sometimes it works
